From your president on 11/22/04
This will probably be the final update for the Saturday, Dec 11th Club event. The party starts at 4:30 p.m..
We have one door prize valued at $250, an accessory for your Z Series car. Be sure you get a ticket for the drawing, one ticket per car. We'll have the drawing mid way through the evening.
All but three attendees have responded with a pot luck dish. Please check the selections from the previous email , avoid duplication of the list below, and advise us of your choice, thanks.
In summary, the event starts at 4:30 PM and here are the directions again:
If coming from the South on the 101 get off at the Princess/Pima Rd off ramp and turn right at the signal. This will place you on Pima Rd Northbound. Take it 12 miles North to Stagecoach Pass and turn right (East) go 1 mile and you will see the Community of Sierra Norte and the entrance gates on your left.,. Enter and go past the first street which is Suncrest, the second street is Granite Peak Trail , turn right and our house number is 9777 on the right hand side. If coming from the West on the 101, get off at Princess Dr. When you come down the offramp. turn left on to Princess headed East and drive under the freeway on Princess which will end with a left hand curve and place you on Pima Rd North. Then follow the same directions as above.
We will be both indoors and outdoors and have rented outdoor gas umbrella heaters. Plenty tables and chairs will be provided by a party supply rental company.
Soft drinks and hot coffee will be provided. Adult beverages on a BYOB basis. We can have soda water, and other common mixes available but it would help if you let us know your desires and we'll put it on the shopping list.
Please wear your club name tag. if you don't have one, email John Johnson at jjohns2@cox.net maybe he will be able to bring it along or mail it to you ahead of time.
Our esteemed clothing directors will have a sample supply of common club clothing items. Some items like jackets are custom order items. Your purchase of club clothing adds to the club treasury and funds events like the Holiday bash and door prizes.
There is plenty of on street parking. Please do NOT park in the driveway, thank you.
We're sending this memo to the entire club membership. If you find yourself in a position to join in "last minute" come ahead, the more the merrier.........bring something to eat :-)
