Event planned for November 12, 2005

OK, here's the final plan for the trip to Oak Creek Canyon

We'll meet at 8:45 AM in the Albertson's parking lot on Carefree hwy 1/4 mile east of Interstate 17. We'll be departing at 9:00 AM sharp.

The route will be to Wickenburg, Yarnell, Prescott, Jerome, Cottonwood, Sedona, Oak Creek Canyon. We'll be picking up Hwy 89 north of Wickenburg right on through Prescott. In Prescott Valley, we'll pick up 89A through the balance of the waypoints.

Please remember to bring your club radio and also a jacket or coat, it can get chilly up there this time of year. As always, we ask that you have a full fuel tank at the start of the trip. We'll be making appropriate fuel and comfort stops along the way and announced on the club radio.

Our lunch reservations have been changed to 1:30 PM approximately.

There is an interesting twist to the drive this year but we're keeping it a secret until everyone arrives at the departure point.
