Tech Event Planned for Saturday, 2/25/2006
Update 2/22:
Looks like we're going to have a nice 77 degree day for the event :-) Please remember there is a $10 per vehicle event fee. This will be turned over to the shop to help offset the cost of opening the shop when its normally closed. There will be a check in sheet at the parts counter. Please deposit your $10 there and check off your name. Please remember to bring your name tag and some extra money since our clothing directors, the Sobelmans, will have club clothing on display for sale. We thank Ron & Lori Harnish for doing all the work to set up the event. Please let them know you appreciate their time and effort and also thank the merchants for supporting the event.

Our tech session chairman, Ron Harnish, is organizing the event for Feb 25, Saturday, 2006 at Ultimate Auto in the Airpark. We expect to have all the usual vendors present.
These events are always fun and popular with the members. If you have never attended one, our tech sessions are a combination of doing minor "fix its" asking questions, learning more about your car, and installing accessories as long as it's fairly simple. These events are not intended to engage in major repairs on your car; you can make an appointment with the shop and take care of those some other time.
Below is a list of the merchants who usually attend and support our club.
We will be sending out more details between now and Feb 25th. Lunch may be provided by the club and there will be a small entry fee to participate.
Cheers, Paul
We will have BBQ beef brisket and pulled chicken sandwiches, potato salad, cold slaw, and a choice of two great desserts. The service includes tables, chairs, setup and cleanup.
Please remember to bring along your club name badge. It works much better than being referred to as. "hey you!"
Howard & Kathie Sobelman, our new clothing directors, will be in attendance with a supply of club clothing items. If there is a particular item you want, please contact Howard in advance at hsobelman@cox.net and let him know. Otherwise he may not have that item with him. We recently added a new, useful item, the hat clip that holds your hat to your shirt in case the wind blows it off.........you won't lose it :-)
Looking forward to seeing your smiling faces at the event.
