Club Tour, Saturday, 7/22/06

The July club tour will be an afternoon and evening drive from Fountain Hills to the Mormon Lake Lodge for dinner. This will give us an opportunity to escape the Valley heat for several hours.The scheduled date is Saturday July 22nd

If you plan to attend, I need to know in advance, so I can work with the people at the restaurant on the method of serving us. They can handle up to 22 souls for individual entrée selections and if we have more than 22, it will require a buffet setting. There are several entrée selections for the buffet, so I have to have a head count and work all this out ahead of time.

Please RSVP at your earliest convenience so I can finish setting this set up.

As I recall, it takes about 2.5 hours to get to Mormon lake and we’ll want to sit for dinner at about 6 PM. We should be departing Fountain Hills at about 3:30p. Perhaps this will give you the information you need to decide on whether you will attend.

The evening drive back home through the Coconino National Forest should be beautiful with tops down. Maybe it will cool down a bit between now and the 22nd

Let's meet at the Target Center Parking lot in Fountain Hills at 3:15 PM and depart promptly at 3:30 PM. We meet at the east end of the lot on the Shea Blvd side. The center is located at Shea and Saguaro Blvds in Fountain Hills. Please arrive with a full fuel tank and with your club radio tuned to channel 3. If you need some specific club clothing items, please contact Howard Sobelman at hsobelman@cox.net and put in your clothing order. If he has room in his trunk, he may bring a sampling of items he has in stock.
